Professor of Microwave and Antenna Engineering at Heriot-Watt University and Head of Institute of Sensors Signals and Systems. Academic expert how has led R&D programmes in the area of satellite connectivity of total value in excess of £4M, including as PI in two EU projects and 5 activities from ESA where he generated the underlying research and development of technologies. Expert in antenna design for satellite communications and author over 150 papers, 1 book and 6 chapters. He received 5 awards for his work in the domains relevant to this project.

Samuel Rotenberg
COO
Deep knowledge of electrical and mechanical engineering, he has led the background research over 3 years and is responsible for the technical development of the advanced prototype. Main inventor of INFINECT’s technology, he is also developing his commercial profile through programmes supported by RBS and an ongoing ICURe program. In 2017, Samuel has received the Young Scientist Award at the URSI international conference and finalising his PhD thesis for 2020.

Dr. Pascual D. Hilario Re
Principal Antenna Engineer
PhD in 2019 from Heriot-Watt University with expertise on antenna design for wireless power transmission and radar systems. He is currently leading the design of the antenna system. Author of 11 papers and awarded with two student grants during his PhD period, he was also finalist for the best student paper award in the European Conference on Antennas and Propagation in 2018.

Dr. Carolina Mateo Segura
Executive Technical Advisor
Honorary Professor of Microwave and Antenna Engineering in the Institute of Sensors Signals and System at Heriot-Watt University. Technical expert who led the Transport-Technology Research Innovation Grant from the UK Department of Transport and HGSP by Scottish Enterprise for Infinect from 2015-2019. She has and also led as project manager several European Programs on broadband satellite communication services accounting over £3M. Dr. Mateo-Segura is an expert on high-gain arrays and leaky-wave antenna design with major theoretical and practical contributions in the field.
